Hardware reboot / power controll switch

Amazing upgrade. Thanks @vileer for providing the option of hooking up a switch to power. This gives the ability to force cut the power, anytime something happens. No need to unscrew the back and remove batteries!

I made a small hole in the case, and glued the NC switch inside. Now I only need a paperclip to press the button, and presto, power is cut. Amazing upgrade!

Thanks for the reminder of this mod.. Your implementation looks great! I knew I read about it somewhere and just relooked at the NVMe battery board description and it mentioned it:

Manual on/off control: Desolder R14 and connect a push-lock switch to J6. The battery will be turned on when the switch is locked. And turn off when the switch is released.

Did you just remove the lever/arm from the D2MSL switch?

These switches are available with and without levers. But even removing the arm is a matter of just 2 seconds.

yes. I removed the lever, and aligned it with the small hole in the frame. glued it to the board.

What is the module bottom right ?

It is a 2.4Ghz wifi module, that supports monitor mode. You can (barely) see the coax cable, going under the battery board towards the extra RP-SMA port on the side.
