You have to be connected via WiFi the first time you load the game. It needs to download supporting files. Once that’s done, it will work without an internet connection.
I don’t want to disrupt this thread, but I tried doing the same thing for my gameshell and it doesn’t seem to work. It keeps saying “Timed out” and I tried reconnecting multiple times getting the same response
