So would it run DOS 3 or 6…
I think i have some stuff on floppy from 80’s hanging around somewhere in my office.

I haven’t used this, but I’ve had very good luck with the DOSBox-Pure core in Retroarch. It’s a fork of DOSBox designed to make DOS games play like console games: GitHub - schellingb/dosbox-pure: DOSBox Pure is a new fork of DOSBox built for RetroArch/Libretro aiming for simplicity and ease of use.

If you set up a Game Focus hotkey, you can switch to using the trackball and keyboard directly without using Retroarch’s other keybinds.
