any guides for getting retro gaming on the uconsole. i would like uconsle to boot to my bookworm desktop then be able to launch the emulator when i want to play. tried to install retroarch but wasnt able to get any 64bit cores. advice or link to walkthrough would be awesome.
In the retro arch updater settings, put the following URL in the buildbot cores URL:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/christianhaitian/retroarch-cores/master/aarch64/
what about getting another sdcard with retpropie?
i am getting a 404 error from this link
I have an EMMC CM5 so multiple sd cards isn’t an option for me.
Oops. I fixed the link.
this still did not work for me. not sure what i am doing wrong.
You probably need to set the directory the cores download into. By default it points to a write protected folder. In arch linux at least, they get put in /usr/lib/libretro with the intention you use the package manager to install and update packages. I’m not sure they’ll work with your distro, but they didn’t work with mine. If you want to do it with the online updater with the link above, you have to make a folder ~/.config/retroarch/cores and set it as the cores directory in the settings.
