Nintendo 64 emulator

Has anybody tried compiling a Nintendo 64 emulator for the GameShell?

I found these possible candidates for RetroArch:

Not sure if they’re going to compile though without adding or modifying building parameters since they lack a gameshell dedicated block code on the Makefile.

I can’t try right now because I left the console at home, so I’m willing to read about any direct experiences. Any luck with this? In case you already managed to make it to work… does it run smoothly or should we better think about emulating other lighter emulators?

I’m also interested in at least getting something to run - even if its sluggish. What about Raspberry Pi N64 Emulators? Also - not able to test it right now.

Gotcha:

Hi, I;m new here and i just wanna ask is there any updates on the Nintendo 64 Emulators . I play these games for a while and i don’t know is there any emulators with improved graphics sounds and other staffs.

The N64 is reasonable demanding on the 3D side, and even on modern PC with high specs, some emulator struggle a bit (can’t get some decent framerate on one of the emulator with a 9900K/RTX2070)

So I think the main issue is going to be the 3d drivers.
