Ok so here is the thing :
On OS 0.4 within the retrogames menu where the emulators are, there is mupen64.
Putting n64 roms into the corresponding folder using FileZilla works perfectly fine.
However, much like with some other emulators in that menu, it will only detect certain file formats, which are in this case .z64 files.
So i move Super Mario 64 in there, in that very format, scan the folder, select the rom, get the automatic setup prompt, let it do its thing, try to boot the game, i enter the gameshells loadingscreen… and get sent back to the main menu.
So i tried the other two file formats (n64 and v64) which it couldn’t detect, even tried to just put the zipfile in which i downloaded them with the same result.
Then i proceeded to move the cores (from /home/cpi/apps/emulators) onto my harddrive and delete them from the GS in hopes it would reinstall them when trying to boot the game up but i get the loadscreen and kicked back to the main menu once more, so i move them back where i got them.
So I am not entirely sure what to do here and i would appreciate any help sent my way, if mupen64 can actually run on the GS at all.
