I bought CM4 8gb 16gb eMMc with WiFi.
I have flashed Rex’s Bookworm, Trixie and Ubuntu I can’t get any WiFi or Bluetooth. I bought WiFi usb adapter and Bluetooth usb adapter, still no joy. I flashed it using Ecther. Has anyone had this issue before? I am still learning Linux sorry.
You have the antenna plugged into the main board. You need to move the antenna to the CM4 module. The main board antenna port was for the CM3, and the CM4 does not have connection to it.

he doesn’t have a wifi cm4, that’s why there’s no antenna port

Ah yeah, didn’t even notice that.
so you are getting it to boot but when you plug the usb wifi card in it doesn’t show up?
no, you did not. what is the model number of your CM4?
what does lsusb when you run it in terminal say?
I just noticed they have sent me the wrong one
, when plug in the Bluetooth adapter nothing comes up and wifi one opens the file explorer.
If they’ve sent you the wrong model, even though you ordered and paid for the right one, make a complaint.
I ordered this one model Manufacturer Part No: CM4008016
SKU: SC19738
Article: 1xRaspberry-pi Raspberry Pi 8GB Compute Module 4 16GB eMMC
Thank you I am going to contact the company now. Is it difficult to get the dongles working?
their image is wrong, but the SKU says that’s not a wifi module

if the dongle has linux drivers it’s usually just plug and play, what dongle do you have?
The second digit (the first after CM4) states whether it has WiFi (1) or not (0).
Yours doesn’t.

Thank you for the clarification. It’s my first project. It looks like I botched it.
I bought these two from Amazon. Any good you think?
they use the same picture for all versions
