I am configuring ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS to work correctly on RISC board (r-01).
It is currently in this state:
- Correct graphic interface size (large fonts so that your eyes do not suffer).
- Correct sound.
- Text interface or operational graphics.
- Games: eboard (chess), openttd (slow), nethack, angband,powder. Others are supported if they do not require powerful graphics.
- Tools: mcomander, terminator, terminus, Gparted, Htop, Xaos, and others.
- Windows manager based on I3.
- Dmenu Rofi.
- Music: cmus, Open Cubic Player (slow in graphic mode, but fast in terminal).
- Information bar with network, battery, date and memory data.
- /media/ tons of mod,it,s3m Music (anthology).
Keyboard shortcut settings:
ALT + D opens rofi launcher.
ALT + F full screen
ALT + Q close window
ALT + ENTER open terminal
To enter pure text terminal you must press CTRL + ALT F2, F3, F4 etc.
Username and password “cpi”.
It is updated and does not break if updates are made again.
I hope it is useful to someone. I’ve spent months setting it up.
