Q. about Retroarch on uconsole

If I played retroarch, which is installed by default on the uconsole, it comes out in green letters, and if I replaced the skin with " x m b " , I got a error as shown in the picture below.
In this case, even if I turn off and on the uconsole, the screen appeared as it is and I cannot enter retroarh.
Should I install retroarch again ?
I want to run retroarch on raspbian os, what should I do?

default uconsole image is very old, better switch to: Bookworm 6.12.y for the uConsole and DevTerm

and for retroarch you can make another sd card with: RetroPie 6.12.y for uConsole and DevTerm

Thanks for letting me know. I’m saving retropie on a different sd card, and I just wanted to know if it’s possible on the original sd card. And I’m saving the setting for bookworm that Rex made with a different sd card as well

yes, but you will need to configure it by yourself as ‘go to’ suggestion on this forum is use to retropie
