My uConsole, which I’ve been using successfully for a year now, has started to grow a blurry defect around the border/edges, so I’m starting to wonder if I should replace it - or if there is maybe something that can be done in software to fix it? I’ve done nothing but use the uConsole as an ARM development machine, leaving the display-blanking interval as per stock settings from the official clockworkPi OS image. Fix somehow, or replace - and if replace, anyone know where to get the parts? I really love my uConsole, its been the basis of my ARM development (alongside a Pinebook) and its kind of important for me to get this fixed ..
That’s a known problem with the stock image. It’s a combination of the original panel driver and x11.
That is a really old distro and should be upgraded. I’d suggest my Debian 13 Trixie image, it can be found here.
