uConsole as LTE access point?

Is anyone else planning on using your uConsole as a wifi access point? I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to figure it out, as I’ve done this with a LTE laptop that I hope this uConsole will replace.

I present at conventions occasionally, and a dedicated access point that isn’t on convention wifi would be a god-send. We present with laptops and even without internet, compiling and running services directly on the uConsole would be better then tethering my phone and hoping I don’t walk too far away from the booth.

I’m really hoping this is going to be a great tool for managing servers remotely and a co-processor for developing and debugging network applications in addition to my laptop.

(I’m excited about it and we’re not seeming to get updates any time soon, so I figured I’d just talk about my plans to scratch my itch until we do)

me too – it shouldn’t be too hard something like this (Software access point - ArchWiki) should be a good starting point

edit: sidenote: i love how useful the arch wiki is even for those not on arch :stuck_out_tongue:

Ive actually expected to do the opposite - since we are served best by Verizon in my area - I use my DevTerm all the time using my cell phone as a hot spot… but I want to hear how it goes the other way -
