First prototype of the uEther extension module has arrived.
Based on the microchip LAN9500A USB 2.0 to 10/100 Ethernet Bridge.
cool, I’ll buy if you add an usb hub for 10 usb-c ports, rtc, sdr, lora, flashlight, high quality audio interface and 40 pins connector…
Hahaha I’m already on it
Do you plan on selling them? I’m definitely interested
That would solve one of my problems.
Hot damn, this is awesome.
Yes, soon I will have a few pieces ready to sell. I will post an update when available.
That sounds really great.
In which platform do you plan to sell them, Tindie? Also, just to know, do you have an estimate time? like in one months or three?
Thanks
The uEther board is now available for sale on Tindie.
I have never seen before any expansion card with already integrated plastic panel. unbelievable customer oriented service!
And… I’m too late already
I did put my email in for notice, hopefully this will be smooth enough that you want to do another run.
Do you plan to do restock soon?
I would love to buy one?
Yes definitely!
I’m currently waiting for the next batch of PCBs and components to arrive. In the next few weeks I should have more available.
Thank you, looking forward to buying one.
Have you looked at lan9512? It is the same chip with built in usb hub. So, same chip, one usb upstream port, two usb downstream ports and a lan port. The USB is only 2.0 so that might be a limitation in performance. I haven’t looked but I think the usb available on the connector is 3.0
I’m working on a new design with an additional usb type C port (usb 2.0).
Waiting for the new PCBs and the components to arrive in the next ~ 1 or 2 weeks.
Ill buy one also
Asap
The new uEther rev. B boards have arrived. (with additional USB C port)
Will be available on the Tindie store in the next couple of days.
Will this board work on the Radxa cm5 board.
