I designed a KVM expansion board for uConsole, named uKVM, referencing the HDMI capture card design from yuzuki-hcc.
The current version supports either a standard HDMI or a MicroHDMI interface (not both on the same board). Due to the excessive thickness of the standard HDMI port, a recessed mounting approach was implemented (why didn’t I measure it beforehand?!).
Curse you! Another expansion card that I could use. I currently use a USB capture card and this would make my uConsole even more streamlined. Wish the uConsole had two expansion ports now, I have the SDR/LoRa card but this would be nice to run along side it.
FYI: I designed this in JLCPCB EDA Pro, so the included uConsole KVM_2025-06-19.epro is their professional format export. KiCad should import it—but expect some quirks!
Due to personal reasons, I’ve decided to stop producing and selling this expansion board. I’ve open-sourced all design files and software - you’re welcome to build it yourselves. Note: The MS2109 firmware wasn’t developed by me and can be found here.
I understand this might be disappointing, but I truly appreciate your consideration of my situation.
