CM4 too here and my order is something like 198. We’ll have just tough it out until it’s our turn

If they continue with 200 units per month, that would take about half a year from now to clear the orders until March (when I ordered). I am not really sure what makes this process this slow. R&D is done, now it’s just a matter of scaling, no?
@Steve_Mc Well, expedited shipping applies from the moment it’s… well… shipped, no? It’s like when ordering something that’s on backlog: it sometimes still makes sense to get it with faster shipping such that when the company eventually does get the item in stock, it won’t take another like 2 months of shipping by boat.
There is one glimmer of hope with the delayed shipping and communication… I said earlier that R&D was finished… Well, from my experience with Chinese companies, it is possible that they are actually still working on / improving the device after the first customers’ feedback.
We’ve seen this with their (what seemed like) pretty last-minute keyboard change (swap of enter and backspace I believe), as well.
And issues like inconsistent backlight might get worked on right now, resulting in a better product for the people who are still waiting.
I know there are very different opinions on this way of doing stuff, but it’s something I’ve seen before.
the wording would imply that one would get the device 90 business days after ordering via expedited shipping. i’'m not saying that it was intentional to mislead but i think at this point the wording should be changed on the website to reflect the reality of the situation.I can’t say this enough, the communication from this company is terrible from order to shipping to number and model of items in a batch. i realize it’s a small company but that’s all the more reason to try to keep your supporters informed.
I might be crazy, but I even think clockwork might be just a part-time hobby project. I know people who’s doing that, they have their full time job and also running a part time company… If you have good hardware engineering experience plus some relationship with factory in China, you can totally do this as a part time project.

They’ve been really good about refunds, so no one is suffering anything worse than mild disappointment. If you’re still here it’s because you think the product looks worth the wait. Let’s just be supportive to a very small team putting out some amazing products

I got a ship notification early today, nobody get excited yet, it’s for an order of just cm4 adapters. That order is 22581. I also have a uconsole on order with the R-01 that’s 22580, that has NOT shipped. But i wanted to share anyway since it’s a signal that adapters are in and some kits include those adapters.

Adapters were the first things to ship. And the closest thing to being on time with any sort of schedule. There are people who have gotten their adapters months ago that still haven’t gotten base units.

Update: according to an email I got from Alex, the third batch will apparently mostly focus on the R-01, with the fourth batch being for A-06.

we will see…the seller told me 15 days for shipping. I cant wait to see if it’s scam or A-04
oof, that’s a pretty nice markup. did you verify that the seller has stock in hand? if they’re just putting in orders to clockwork as they receive them and being a drop-ship reseller you may have just paid an extra $200ish dollars to be waiting over a year with the rest of us.
