For folks in the U.S. āBatteries Plusā sells 18650 cells āover the counterā. Another place to look would be stores that sell ātactical flashlightsā, which I guess is why the majority people in this country even care about bare 18650 cells.
These are the cells I bought: Nuon 3.6V
They fit fine, and seem to function properly.

Okay so fun tip for anyone using their uConsole for the first time. pressing the trackball isnāt a left click, itās a middle click. the l and r buttons are left and right click.

Iām asking some real behind the scenes questions but Iām curious how many consoles are in a batch and how many outstanding orders.
Again, not public info. I just read where he said he is hoping to get 1k consoles out in February. Wild there are that many of us nerds out there.
That 1k is a result of 2 batches being sent out in one go because of lunar new year, so on average per batch is around 500 uconsoles, when it comes to amount of order in total thats a harder question, highest order number ive seen today is 26*** and that was an order from January, but ive also heard newer orders have changed the order numbering (hopefully to separate different types of orders) so its really anyones guess
Also you need to include scalpers, on ali express theres one going for over Ā£1000

Yup! that was me with the change in numbering system. I would like to retract that statement. I was looking at the receipt email and not the Order email. Sorry for the misinformation.

Dont worry man we wont be waiting as long as the early adopters who waited over a year, by halfway through next month there will be a huge shipment which will have lots of people getting their order, and if you dont you can always ask alex (email top of this thread) to find out which batch your order will be in

no core/no 4g is the fastestā¦ followed by r-01 no coreā¦ followed by no core/with 4gā¦ followed by cm4/no 4gā¦ followed by almost a tie between cm4/with 4g and A06/no 4gā¦ and the A06/With 4g takes the longestā¦

I orded an R-01 no 4G, and two CM4 adapter boards Nov 2023 - got the adapter boards in Dec 2023 and got the R-01 mid Jan - I purchased the CM4 board from a 3rd party Newark electronics in the USAā¦ so I have a running CM4 unit right in the 90 business day window - but a no core solution with an adaptor board would be the cheapest maybe? I enjoyed getting the R-01 up and runningā¦ I ordered a spare motherboard that I will use as a stand alone headless unitā¦
