To see the date when uConsole will ship, just try this:

I’m wondering whether they have stocked a ton of CM4 lites or whether people who got that option have to wait until they become more available…

I have two laying around for a while 1gb and a 4gb cm4 lite
I guess the CM4 version of uConsole will be shipped later, and the Raspberry Pi board in China has a higher premium, which will affect the delivery of uConsole.
Is this based on any information or is it just speculation?
after placed the order and got the feedback from customer service that the first batch will be delivered before end of Mar. Now i’m checking the mail box again and again, and visiting the community everyday to see if any news about the delivery T_T

Just my personal guess
Take this with a grain of salt because the post is from Dec 2022, but I dont think there will be much issue. RPI mentioned that Q1 2023 will be pretty lean as they work on fulfilling their larger orders like this one, but they expect to have enough units to be back at an unrestricted pre-pandemic level of stock by the 2nd half of the year.

Edit: oh, and RPI recently released a CM4 based SODIMM module that isn’t publicly available yet, the CM4S. Judging by that, i would say their chip availability is pretty good if they can release a new high volume product for their business customers.

Aliexpress seller Chip Board House Store is selling overpriced uconsole (cm4 wifi at 315 usd) with free shipping to US with delivery date April 10… hint we’re getting close to shipping?

How do they get their hands on these? " Fell off the back of the truck" AKA the factory sells it to them?
I guess you need to double check with their custoner service, they will tell you the actual situation
I tried ordering a Miyoo Mini from an unofficial vendor on AliExpress when they were in short supply. I could see from the tracking info that they shipped an empty package to an address in a nearby town.

could be fake, but uconsole never showed up in aliexpress until now (I regularly search for it). And the seller has a good reputation and many other products (fake seller are not difficult to spot if you start looking on types of feedbacks and products). And usually fake sellers tempt with low prices, this one is well overpriced
