Wifi Antenna 8cm fits like a glove, with some signal tests

I used the below linked mount to get an external SMA antenna mount.
Even a 1cm sma antenna works better than the stock sticker.
The 10cm doesnt fold into the gap which is a shame but 8cm does and works more than well enough for my needs.

you can see the benefits in the signal levels.

Hey Mod, how do you have the cable routed? I’m assuming everyone runs the cable out across the top and goes through the hole on the other side of the top? Or did you drill a hole underneath the antenna bracket?

I have one of these antenna mounts on the way from a printer and it should arrive Monday. I was initially thinking of drilling a new hole underneath the bracket but it is pretty crowded in that corner with the speaker and ext board. I’m assuming everyone that runs this specific bracket is running the cable across to the provided hole on the other side?

I used the built in hole and then used electrical tape to cover it and hold it in place.
I did have to put a tiny notch in the mount to allow the cable to be used in this way.
