I found Panasonic ga which is 3500 Mah but some one say Samsung 30Q(3000 mah) is best for uconsole. Please suggest which is more compatible battery for uconsole?
Every non-fake, branded 18650 battery is fine. They are available up to 3,500 mAh. Every capacity above is fake, as of 2026.
Go for Samsung, LG, Panasonic or Sony. Go for the highest capacity available: 3,200, 3.400, 3,450 or 3,500 mAh.
And you want to have two of them.
rex suggests Samsung 35E
look for a dedicated battery store, not a marketplace site like amazon or aliexpress where everyone can sell whatever they want. They’re more likely to sell high quality batteries without fakes getting mixed in
Wrong !
Working very well in my Uconsole !.
“Independent user tests (e.g., airgun forums) show 3850–3880mAh. This is close to the manufacturer’s minimum rating of ~3800mAh (nominal 4000mAh). They handle ~10A continuous discharge reasonably well for their size”
I’ve never heard of this brand before. When I look it up, all I find are listings from the UK and an address in what appears to be a residential area. Are they hand-wound there? ![]()
Could it be that they manually select cells from the major manufacturers and label the strongest ones with their own brand name? Or do they have an own production line?
Have a link to where you bought some? I would be interested in giving a pair a shot.
I also need help getting good batteries for my uConsole. I ignorantly bought protected 3500mah 10A batteries. Is this the recommended one for cm5 to avoid audio cracking and voltage sags? Molicel INR18650-P30B 3000mAh - 30A button top. I don’t know what the best A would be. (I have the 4G module)
As @white-round-square has already mentioned, the Samsung E35 are widely recommended.
I get about 4 hours of video playback using two Samsung E35 batteries with a CM4 and HackerGadget’s NVMe board (WD Red SN700).
Protected ones are safer, but either works. My understanding is that the CM5 draws a bit more power than the battery system was designed for. Any of the 18650 batteries are likely to have the audio issues and voltage sag issues.
Wow that sucks then, had no idea. I thought having protected causes the audio crackling and fast drain.
Ty, I’m gonna try “options snd_bcm2835 power_save=0” and report back.
Protected as opposed to unprotected cells wouldn’t affect audio or runtime.
I see, thanks for the info.
Molicel 3500mAh batteries are great too, I used to get mine from Fogstar in the UK, but recently theyve been running out of stock on almost everything, but if you can score some genuine Molicels theyre good too!
