To my friends who are among the first to receive A06, I am eager to see whether Arch/Manjaro could run on A06. For two more weeks, I will get mine.

Will the second batch of A06s be sent before National Day?
Hi Alex. I bought A04 first and then update it to A06. The order number of A04 is 15258. In this case, will I be in the first batch?
Sorry, not in the first batch. But just 2 weeks later than the first batch, all the rest will be ready. After we secure the shipping window, theyāll be on the way.

You mean national day of China? I donāt think so. According to the schedule, the orders should be during the last stage of manufacturing at that time.

@trollsid same! Ordered Nov 23 (24 in China), order # 139xxā¦ A06 so I guess second batch?
I wonder how many folks who ordered CM3ās just months ago are enjoying their DevTerm and us who decided to splurge with A06 and A04s almost a year ago just waitā¦

Iāve popped on here to find out some more as Iām mildly worried about missing an email / sms from a courier asking for taxes and fees.
My order is in 15000 range for an A06 so the overall wait is fine for me (I have a few other crowd funded things that have been burnt by the current shortages that Iām not expecting to see till next year now)
So it might be nice to at least have a weāve shipped all the orders taken up to this number post so I can check spam folders.
When exactly will be āafter thatā?
Please give us a precise time frame (e.g., DD/MM) for the ā180+ A06s will be sent as the first batchā and āA04s will be sent after thatā statements.
Extending on @Michael_Higham and @ghostwerk comments, I guess the best course of action to keep your customers updated would be for you to put together a page that contains all the shipping estimates (e.g., by order number range / SKU ordered / etc) and place real dates as there are many customers already on the verge of giving up the wait (because your estimates so far havenāt been realistic).

So now Iām really confused. My order is #13535, but the item Iāve ordered is SKU# DTA0402T.
That means, Iām getting my order shipped in the first batch, or 2 weeks after that?? And what is the DD/MM for the first batch shipments?

I have all the empathy for the team that does an amazing job to build and ship DevTerm in such difficult conditions. Unfortunately the communication with customers so far was not meeting the bar leading to frustration, the need to check this forum and uncertainty with what, when and in which order things are going to be shipped.
I understand the difficulties that team is facing and you have all my support. Iām not asking to ship it tomorrow for everyone - Iām 100% sure you do everything you can to speed up the process already. All Iām asking for is to improve the communication. For this and for the future shipments/projects

My understanding is the āfirst batchā here is just the first batch of A06 devterms. So A06 order numbers before 13869 are in the first batch. Itās been stated several times that A04s will ship after that. Iām not 100% clear, but it sounds like all additional A04 and A06 orders might go out two weeks after the initial A06 shipments? But Iām not entirely clear on that and it feels unlikely to me. Iād assume additional smaller batches.

Hey guys, hereās some news you may find exciting.
A06
The first batch of A06s is now during process of shipping. The factory is waiting for the carrier to send them the instructions. (Itās export trade, so we canāt send the packages right away like the domestic orders. We need our shipping partner to deal with the customs.) Theyāll be sent to the carrier tomorrow.
If nothing goes south, weāll be sending tracking numbers in a few days.
The rest of A06s will have to wait for the cores to be made. We expect them to be ready in less than 2 weeks, so, including packing time, they may be ready in about 2 weeks.
Then, weāll arrange the shipping window with our shipping partner.
A04
The producing of A04sā cores will be done before weekend.
Meanwhile, the R&D is finishing their works of the OS. Theyāll test the OS for a few days after. Then weāll start massive producing of the TF card with the OS.
The whole process may take 2 to 3 weeks. Which means weāll be able to pack your orders in 2 to 3 weeks then wait for a shipping window, if things go smoothly.
Heads Up
There are 10 days of public holidays ahead, which may slow the process down a little bit, but the factory assured us that they wonāt take full 10 days off.
Clockwork crew wonāt take one day off. Feel free to contact us.
