iâll settle for two weeks from china, the way the world been shipping
granted they wont ship postnl, however, i have found them to be a reliable source when looking at how the world is handling shipping, rn. it says the USA has solved all thier issues⌠however it also says that there is still the possibility of delays between 2-6weeks. France has reduced thier hours and routes are overloaded. China Post has communicated that due to covid-19 restrictive measures the area of Jinânan and Yuâan, both in Luâan city with postal code 237000 are experiencing delayed deliveries. Some areas around Guangzhou currently have no service at all.

Ooo based on the assembly guide it looks like there might have been a change to the battery connector. I like this better than the loopy FPC from the original renders.

take a another at the GPIO FPC in the assembly. it appears to be vertically mounted like the standard camera fpc. That may or may not be more useful.
on a second look thru, i even reckon i might be able to thread a ribbon thru the vents?

Looks awesome! THAT is some really sweet and solid building instructions that leaves no questions unanswered imo.
It has the look and feel of an IKEA instruction sheet and a LEGO assembly guide combined

I do not think anyone has received any tracking info yet, @yong. It has been 31 days since the last update to which you said you were âstill confident that all pre-orders could be shipped in the coming 30 days.â I am sure we are all weak with anticipation at this point.

Although I understand people are anxious to get the device into their hands, it is funny though to see how everyone seems to assume âShipping in Julyâ means the entire backlog has to be out the door on the night of Jul 1st AT THE LATEST
Just to put this into perspective - I pre-ordered a Librem 5 in Jan. 2019, and right now I consider myself lucky if I get it next year. From what I can reconstruct from the history of the DevTerm (announced in Nov. 2020, right?), we are happy campers if we all get it this summer.

well, i think people are just hoping july doesnt come and go with no word, only to get another delay announced just around the time when shipping was stated to start (again). everyones expectations are different but theyâre heavily informed by what info cpi tells us, and theyâre the most reliable source as to what to expect with their products.
you may be fine with having preordered something yet to be released after almost 3 years, but i doubt cpi wants us to disregard what their stated plans for release are. people just want to be told whether they need to temper/change their expectations (again) as opposed to just sitting around being happy the dates get pushed back instead of just cancelled outright.
