Gamegear cores not working

Hi,

Recently I wanted to launch the game gear emulator.

I tried the gearsystem and genesis_plus_gx cores but no luck.

Indeed when I tried to load a game via retroarch I find myself with a black screen, then a return to the launcher.

I have the 1.7.0 version of Retroarch.

For information, I have this kind of message in syslog:

Jun 18 10:54:25 clockworkpi ntpd [577]: error resolving pool 3.debian.pool.ntp.org: Temporary failure in name resolution (-3)

Any help ? :grin:

only for sure is the message in syslog is just ntp (network time protocol) errors,no big deal

Actually it seems the gamegear’s cores need the roms to be not zipped.
