Please update us when you do get the board!

All I know is you should be only 1.6mm taller than the 18650s, and I think those lay directly on the board. I do not know their vertical clearance to the top of the battery compartment though. I’d be thrilled if you could get 20000mAh into a uConsole.

Couple of questions: is there any way to keep the safety circuit, how safe is it without the circuit, and does it provide battery charge level in the OS? I’m assuming you would need to config that?

No worries, bro. I ain’t stressing it, but thanks for the update!

I received my shipping status :winking_face_with_tongue::grin:

Now… anyone have link for a good battery, including the connector?

I order the 16050 version… but thinking of remove it… not yet sure.

Will see!

Mine too?…:confused::confused:

I really can’t wait… :weary_face::weary_face:

What order number if I may ask?

I pre ordered day one but didn’t receive a shipping notice..

I was late to the party and placed my order 3 days ago so I could use my preorder coupon. I got shipping notice today. I believe it’s because I ordered the most basic configuration (CM5, no battery holder, no extensions). Vileer posted that extension kit / Radxa versions will be shipped mid-December.

54xx

Now wait for deliver

I’m likely just not looking in the right place, but does anyone have a good source for quality pigtails? I’m looking for a couple longer ones to connect the WiFi board and the antennas. It looks like the ones provided in the V1 AIO shipment may not reach to the bottom of the WiFi board that we all ordered recently.

thanks everyone!

Shipping status received too :smiley:
Good times!

The new 7x SMA antenna mounting kit will include that.

Shipping confirmation. Can’t wait to Frankenstein the new boards with the old HG-AIO board.

Mine has already made it into the USA. I just ordered another one today for the second uConsole that should be showing up some time next year maybe? :rofl:

So I’m curious… I got a CM5 w/ EMMC… got the NVME board coming with this kit too… haven’t worked with the CM5 yet… what would be more advantageous: flashing the EMMC and booting off that or the NVME? What’s the difference, if any? One better than the other in terms of speed, stability, or reliability?

just trying to figure the best plan to get this setup as optimized as possible. Let me Know if I missed anything I should know! Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the reply! I’m thinking of running Kali on the NVME drive…. I’m Not sure I’ll need the SD card slot too much. Especially for a dual boot. Sweet feature though! I’m sure I’ll expand in the future!

If I flash the EMMC via the USB-C, is it any headache getting the OS to boot off the NVME after? Not sure of my process there yet. Any tips?

just clarifying, does me having the EMMC variant totally brick the SD card slot altogether?

Vileer first off let me thank you for all the work you have put into these new upgrades its much appreciated! Im awaiting my order now its stateside and still in transit. Now on the my questions… 1.) Is there any instructions on what needs to be done in order to get the NVME working once we receive it? 2.) Also any feedback on what we need to do to get a 10,000mah battery (3.7V 10000mah Rechargeable Lithium Polymer Battery 9858102) working correctly in the unit as well because thats the direction i am heading.. I ordered this batery off of Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256809598763269.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.28c31802MwTNav&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

as I understand you will need to update magic number in the eeprom config so should be very simple

#SD → NVMe → USB → Network
BOOT_ORDER=0xf461

EEPROM config and the CM5 lite

I may write the instructions later.
