If you use Trixie (not sure about others), you can use the Raspberry Pi Imager right from the OS with the SSD installed in the uConsole. Then you use Raspi-config to set your boot drive to the SSD.
The boot order was set by the computer moduleās EEPROM. You can use raspi-config like @Toml_12953 said, or use rpi-eeprom-config to configure the boot order.
In option #2, once you flash the SSD and install it back into the uConsole, it will automatically boot from it if itās the first option in your boot order.

This is moving to the left with the back plate facing up right? i.e. moves nearer to the audio port and away from the expansion slot.
IK believe you should be able to use the linux dd command to copy direct from your old memory (mine is a sd card) to the nvme once you have it installed, then you can configure the uconsole to boot from the nvme instead of the sd card.

itās a preorder like the description says, and the original estimated ship date was the 30th of november, but I think vileer has said there were some delays for some versions so they are pushed back like 2 more weeks
