@vileer i admire you for making this right for new buyers. replacing resistors this small en-mass isn’t easy.
Hope you will also sort out the compensation process soon for us existing users… awaiting your update. ![]()

The compensation plan is launched. Please check this link: https://forum.clockworkpi.com/t/statement-regarding-aio-v2-internal-usb-c-power-supply-issue-and-compensation-plan .
Dude this is amazing. I was more than geared up for the task, but I commend you and your approach to this issue. A little bit sad I didn’t get to do it myself. I do sympathize with the users who have trepidation about doing surface mounted components this small as I’ve completely toasted my fair share of boards with a hot iron.
Anyone just got the AIO V2 with hacker gadgets kit just run all the commands step by step and your all good. I was pulling my hair out before I finally came across this page thanks to the guys Rex & Vileer & Acemedia
And me.
I’m helping now too. ![]()
I got the whole Wiki up earlier, as well as fleshing out the aiov2_ctl with some more features and tools. ![]()
Thanks for your effort. Unfortunately, I only get as far as checking the status; then I get the following message.(Command not found)
Any tips?
the install command already failed , so then it makes sense the next command also fails
What could be the reason for this? I only just noticed the “Error: Invalid Argument” message. I followed the GitHub instructions exactly… I don’t understand why it’s not working for me, but a lot of people seem to have no problem with it.
sudo python3 aiov2.py …
No sudo python3 ./aiov2.py….
Looks like you have the old version of the AIO? The new one will just tell you to use –help when using a wrong command, as there are a lot more options now. –install and status only exist in the new script.
Update your local copy of the repo to the new script using git pull, then –install and follow other instructions.Once you have that update you’ll be able to just do –update in future.
No. It’s a V2 board.
The instructions on the GitHub page are different. There are slightly different commands on the wiki page. I really don’t know what to do anymore
I meant the new version of the script, not the old board. Drop me a DM on here or Discord if you’re still stuck. Let me know what doesn’t match up (updating the wiki for more clarity/parity with main readme right now).
I added prereq install command and autostart on the wiki Install page, just for folks trying to get it running from there. But the commands are essentially otherwise the same.
I’ve tried both Bookworm and Trixie, both with a freshly installed and updated image. Please take a look at my screenshot a few posts above this one. The first line already says: invalid argument. I can’t get any further from there. I don’t understand why I seem to be the only one who can’t get the board to work.
I’ve dropped you a DM buddy. ![]()
11 USD tax for a 65 USD product delivering to Shanghai, China? Also as a customer from China pay from ICBC, you charged me in USD, making me loosing on exchange back and forth plus tax, probably half of the product price! Pretty shame … you are a Chinese company based in Guangzhou and not in New York !
The tax was relate to some sort of the setting of shopify. I already set the shipping origin to Guangzhou, China. But shopify still count the tax. You can contact us via the contact page with your order number for refunding the tax. But USD is the only currency that our credit card/PayPal payment gateway accept.
I understand but this is your shop and is your problem to fix this not customers, is not only the tax but also the currency double exchange taxation fee, charging Chinese customers in USD when they use RMB currency card. I can imagine how many pay almost double this kit and they even don’t realize…
Just installed my board in Cold Canada.. all went well. but was stuck on the ribbon cable for the AIO board, but then realized there is a picture of it on another thread. All is working sdr++ but working on teh GPS< still need to read some notes on that. I have the system booting from NVMe with no issues.. Thanks again Vileer for the helpful product and adding the antenna package after i initially ordered the board.
Just got my AIO/NVME kit and I’m really happy with it. But I’m missing the USB3 24mm ribbon cable.
