I mean, if I can get a CM4 with 8gb ram that could help, I am now trying to see how to get a devterm in the mean time XD.
P.S. How much this makes things faster? because the waiting time might also help me to write apps and programs that I want to run in the console using I suppose virtualisation in the machine I am right now…

Just emailed to alex, he said that the production shall be done in December, and delivery in January.
I did the exact same, we must ordered at the same time with the same specs, Alex said the same to me, late December but most likely January.
Ordered 7 months ago. Still waiting. Still no word. Still wondering why orders after mine are getting fulfilled. Didn’t order the CM-4 since someone would probably mention it (I have like 50 of em).

I noticed the same– I ordered 8 months ago. Someone with a CM4 who ordered after mine claims to have theirs fulfilled in another thread.
I asked Alex about this and they said there are multiple teams packing products at different speeds, but that any actual delivery will be stalled until the Christmas period is cleared.
This is, of course, not a satisfactory answer; how can there be many teams packing, but such a massive delay, while random orders are somehow still being shipped? It’s very odd.

I wonder why that is, do orders sometimes get lost? Or why would e-mail requests change the delivery speed?
I’ve seen no evidence that emails change anything.
They mostly just piss people off because the content of the emails doesn’t really line up with what we actually see happening with deliveries in this thread and other places.
Out of order deliveries are because it seems like there are 8 different uconsole queues (one for each variant) but only 1 set of order numbers.
Certainly annoying that it’s taking so long to get here. I ordered in Aug (so, yeah, I haven’t had to wait as long as others have…) and now it’s looking like both my orders from HackerGadgets will arrive long before the unit to put them into does.
My PicoCalc actually arrived in about 3 months, but still waiting on this. This just seems like so much more useful of a device so really hoping it comes soon.

Yeah, and there is a trust issue too. Seeing orders being fulfilled in seemingly random ways with little to no logic behind them (There was some, or it seemed like some with the back log due to the CM4 and CM5 modules), but now…. there isnt. THAT being said, I totally understand the issues behind logistics and supply/demand stress.. But.. If its not available, don’t list it as available. Then push a 6-9 month wait.
They just told me that I’m waiting for production, Didn’t really get an update.
