Guys,
at this point it almost feels like a scam.
Order No. 44204 Placed on Oct 18, 2025
first it was promised to be shipped march/april. then it suddenly became “the actual delivery might take place in May”. It’s end of June now.
what is going on.

I already contacted help@ - twice in the past few months…
unfortunately alex tells everyone it will ship soon, which is usually not accurate.
What’s likely actually going on is that the specific variant you ordered hasn’t sold enough units yet to send a batch to production
uConsole Kit RPICM4 Lite Color: Matte Black | Type: WIFI only | Core: Raspberry Pi CM4 104000 lite
does this count as an esoteric specific variant ?
no one knows how it works.
in theory, if you ask alex to refund your cm4 module – you may get it quicker. but then you’ll have to source cm4/cm5 somewhere by yourself and current prices are crazy.
idk, order was placed 8 months ago.
I hope Alex or whoever in charge actualy reads this forum.
Everything indicates they don’t read this place
Historically cm4 variants have been slower than no core ones
Whether that’s because of lower popularity or trouble sourcing cm4s we’ll never know for sure
well, they could have made that clear like “we dont have cm4 on stock, better order a no-core uconsole and source the cm4 yourself”. idk
however, thanks for the info.
if they dont read this place, it definitely feels even more like a scam.
you should receive your unit in the end, just a bit “late”
you can always request to refund and buy it on ali/reseller instead
They could, but that would require admitting they don’t ship them out in order, and they keep insisting they do when pressed.
Even though in the order tracking threads we can clearly see they only go in order if you group the orders by specific variant.
For what it’s worth, so far everyone has either received theirs eventually, or gotten a quick refund when asked
at this point, I am not interested in a refund. there’s a good reason that I placed an order on clockworkpi not a random reseller/aliexpress. if I can’t trust clockworkpi, why would I trust their resellers.
I could have bought a cm4 (or 5) 8 months ago, if I knew they would have issues sourcing the CM. at the moment of placing the order, one would assume theyd have it in stock. no?
also the other modules (aio2, battery/nvme upgrade stuff etc) that I already purchaced from hackergadgets now feels like an e-waste. I have no use for them.
while the store says in stock, because it’s an off the shelf online store, the website has always said pre-order.
Clockwork actually having a device in stock is bad news, that usually means they’re selling the last few ones they have and after that it’s gone forever.
seems like random resellers deliver like in 1-3 weeks ![]()
would that one also assume that “90 business days” means “90 business days”? ![]()
I hope mine will be delivered in next 90 days. and that I’ll be alive and in good condition to aseemble it myself
I would recommend to send alex an email with direct question (are request for direct answer): “would removing cm4 from the order improve delivery term?”
he’s usually insisted it doesn’t matter
Im pretty sure a business day is a week for them.
At this point, you might as well just wait for your order since CM4 has almost doubled its price and you have already waited for 8 months. It should be shipped in any time now.
I have read somewhere a users said: “I was a teenager when I placed my order, and now I am an old man.”
I think it’s naive to believe that if you placed an order last year, you’ll receive a device with CM4 this year at the price you paid back then. I suspect that orders containing a CM4 won’t be shipped until prices have returned to normal.
