Clockworkpi’s clerk told me that uconsole had already been handed over to SF Express, but it’s been more than ten days and there’s been no update. I’m in a neighboring province to his company, and during this time, he’s just kept telling me that the item was given to the SF.
I feel like storming into his company to ask him what the hell is going on!
In ten days, even a delivery to the other side of the Earth would’ve made it!
But they haven’t even given me a single tracking number.
I do not speak the language shown in the screenshots but have you tried contacting Alex directly?
Give him your order number and ask him if there is a tracking number. From what I’ve seen in the forums, he is very reasonable and understanding (although a bit overlyoptimistic with delivery times)
If there is a tracking number, he should be able to provide it… and if things go south, maybe ask for a refund.
thanks,This is the first time I’ve heard of Alex,At this point, I’ve already emailed him。
Cool! I hope he can resolve your issue or, at the very least, provide some clarity on the situation.
Check the thread about shipping estimates I made. Just in case.
But writing Alex is the best way to clear any misunderstanding.
Good luck!
Excuse me,If Alex is alex@clocworkpi.com,And how long he will be reply me?
That’s not quite true. International shipping can take 2 to 4 weeks depending on a variety of factors.
The problem here is that they haven’t provided you with a tracking number, so it’s not possible to know where it’s at. It could still be in transit, or even stuck in customs. Hopefully Alex can find the number for you.
he usually replies a day or so based on my experience.
Finally, I’ve received the tracking number. Thank you all — the anxiety has finally gone away. I’m truly grateful.
thank you!
Alex is good man。
don’t forget to buy a screen protector if you don’t want anxiety to return: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1636557-REG/smallrig_3274_screen_protector_for_bmpcc.html
First of all, thank you for recommending which screen protector to buy. I was even thinking of buying a large sheet and cutting it myself. But due to currency issues, I can only shop on domestic websites, so the one you recommended doesn’t work for me. Thanks again—may we all stay free from anxiety.
By the way, should the screen protector be applied before installing the screen or after it’s installed?
-
this model of screen protector has perfect size, so I highly recommend to find exact this sku somewhere locally. have no idea who found it first, but them are goat.
-
I assembled screen part, cleaned it, put over metal front cover and then applied protector. It has size of metal hole, not screen itself.
-
there are 3d printed covers over screen, may be better choice for you.
OK👌thanks,I already buy it on taobao, and will follow your operate.
Also, remember to check this topic:
Just received my uConsole, now what? A list of links of interest
I have gathered most (if not all) flavors of linux Rex and other users have posted, some Q&A links and mods for the Wifi (the last part is very important. WiFi is a pain in the butt with the stock antenna)
I think there is even a link that takes you to a “Light 3D printed armor” somewhere in there (probably the link that, for some reason, appears in spanish. That’s a list of uConsole printables so it must be there)
Cool,This post was very helpful to me, thank you very much.
I hope that one day I’ll be able to write useful scripts too.
