Kernel version numbers don’t tell me which image you downloaded. There are multiple places to download uconsole images not all of them work all the time
I assume you downloaded this one Kali 6.12.y for the uConsole and DevTerm
And the image most likely to work without issues is this one Trixie 6.12.y for the uConsole and DevTerm
