I ordered a Gameshell, but I have no experience with Linux. I was wondering if people could share some tutorials of things that would be useful when using a Gameshell?

hi,

this linux is not totaly , but a lot like raspibian, the raspberrry pi debian system.

you should found good tutorials for moding you consoles from pi comunity too.

first of all, you should download the last image of OS here :
http://106.185.33.196/clockworkos_v0.3.img.bz2

once downloaded, use the file to flash you SD card via Etcher

put SD on console, build it , charge it, put wifi connection on settings.

once done,

for simple ROMS transfer follow this tutorial

for Command Lines use this video and ssh info given on the filezilla tutorial

for expand you Os to take full SD card seize, use this comand line tutorial via putty ssh :

for retroarch configuration here is how they do on raspberry pi (not sure we have a thread here if someone can help me on this)

There is no “one tutorial” to “learn Linux”. You learn by using just like how you learned by using Windows or OSX if you are a Mac person. Do what you know untill you run into a rode block the rest will just come through use.
