I have 6.6.47 loaded. Can get sound from bluetooth connected devices, AV Jack, but nothing from speakers: Have tried the reinstall of the ‘patch’ but nothing helps. What am I missing:
Did they work at one point? Have you installed any audio software or changed any settings for the audio?
Short answer is yes, they did (cant remember with which kernel - likely original?). I just flashed 6.6.41 (6.6.47) after update, and nothing else. No sound.
Flash a fresh image to a sd card, don’t update and check if the sound works.
No Joy. Does not even show AV Jack now right clicking volume icon.

if you’re not getting any sound with a fresh flash of the bookworm distro, then I think it’s hardware related. have you check the speaker placement and checked the mounting of the ext board?
Seems like next logical step… heading away on vacation for two weeks, so will review hardware when I get back (or on vacation if my wife doesn’t catch me!).

Back from vacation. What I overlooked was the installation of a third party 3 port usb C addon!
Tsking a look at it, I found that it was not seated well. Took care of that, and the speakers are now working. Thanks.
