Honestly doesnt even feel real after this long. Definitely excited, but i cant say it is without frustration. I dont think i will be buying anything else from them anytime soon unless this completely knocks my socks off. It is a shame that the communication is in the state its in and i hope it doesnt end up being the downfall of clockwork because they make interesting stuff that check every box of 10 year old me’s wildest sci fi dreams from way back.
~9 months later, we will see if it lives up to the hype.

I got mine after only 3 months. They are definitely speeding up production! I am so proud of them! They did it! This thing feels super high quality and is made with a lot of very intelligent foresight. I am super delighted! I never expected the build quality to be this incredibly awesome! But it is! I’m ecstatic with joy! What a beautiful design. Clockwork PI has knocked it out of the park. I have been telling evereyone about the uconsole, posting articles on forums and websites and chats everywhere on the internet because I wanted to see them succeed, and they have.

Emailed Alex again the other day since in June I was told they were doing “3-5 batches per month” and that mine was 3 away. 2+ months passed, so you would think 6-10 batches had gone out at this pace. Was told it’s “in the next batch”, which based on some of the order numbers receiving shipping notices seems plausible. Maybe this month!

Received my unit today, delivered by Hermes, after just 37 business days. Things seem to go fast if you choose the right combination. Now I just have to get the CM4, SD card, batteries and maybe a screen protector.

Depends on your country I suppose. From what I’ve seen, it’s either FedEx or DHL. If you live in mainland China then it’s delivered by SF Express.

Based on the data, I’d guess the “fastest” shipping times are for those “simplest” orders. Meaning No-core, wifi-only, matte silver.

Wow. What happened? 7 days and no activity. Everyone got their uconsoles? Lol.
I finally received my order today. 27000. It was ordered back in December.
It is an interesting little device, but with how long it took for it to arrive, I question how much use i’ll actually get out of it. It’ll fit into a tight little niche where i dont want to bring my tablet but my CF-U1 computers dont have enough horsepower to get the job done.
Between issues like the T button requiring enough force to register i frequently have to go back and hit it again and so far the sound not working, this thing might get thrown in my backpack and forgotten. Thankfully the batteries are replaceable.
Been busy occupying myself with other things. From updating NixOS config on my laptop, to playing games that have tendency to suck you in and make time go by so fast, you only realize you’ve been playing all night only once sun rises the next day.
