Not to defend Clockwork, but this is standard fare with online ordering. Refunds to credit cards are limited in method due to restrictions.
It’s exacerbated with Clockwork because fulfillment times become long enough that a customer’s card expiry date comes into play concerning a refund. Most transactions are far shorter than that timeline, even if they go wrong. Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Crowd Supply and others have the same issue where money is taken in advance and production is done just-in-time, or like Clockwork does, on a rolling basis with “batches”. (A Flippy Drive on CrowdSupply takes 6 mos. to ship as well; that was my estimate for August. Now, they anticipate a new order will be fulfilled after April 2025.)
Delays complicate their own policies the longer that an order takes.

Just passed 200 “business” days on mine. Sent Alex another email today as 48 days ago I was told “it’s in the next batch” and before that was told they’re doing 3-5 batches per month. Fingers crossed it’s in this next shipment but don’t have high expectations. There’s really no transparency here of what’s going on.

I wonder how many batches after july? I checked the data in another thread, but do not have any updates after july, maybe most of the person got the item

The last people who posted about receiving they order is 25 days ago, so no batch for october (or not for people but scalper or something).

Emailed Alex and was 4 batches away. I asked for the CM4 to be taken off the order. Hopefully that helps. Unfortunately I’m now on a couple wait lists for the CM4 but that should stock quicker.

I ordered mine over 10 months ago and I am still waiting and it was one of the first #26xxx… just wandering if how many 26xxx’s ware batches ware already shipped out. Are you guys aware of the specific issues concerning the CM4 version, as it relates to shipping?

Probably a black version, all the people who receiveid their this week are silver. Ordered in april (black+cm4), i’m not even sure i will get mine before 2025(hopefully before 2026 lol).

Preordered one in 2022, canceled it in 2023 after almost 11 month and ordered another one in 2024 thinking that supply issu was resolved (oh wrong i was ). Now i’m waiting since april. Good product but horrible communication and waiting time, so much in fact that i will never recommand it to anyone.
I was very busy since later last year and I set a reminder to myself to order this item. I thought the same when I ordered one this month that they resolved the supply issue, then I saw the “90 days”, well, I think the 90 days waiting time is only for no core, no 4g option according to my study of the shipping excel from another thread. And there is no Update since May, I do hope they keep on updating so that we know more about what going on, or at least I will not forget about this product.
