I… don’t think I’ve ever called anyone a fruitcake, whatever that means. I think it’s nice when people show their excitement for their uConsole. Otherwise it’s just a weird mix of support group and bad news.

I messaged alex about my order (249**) and said i will recieve mine after 2 more batches. He also mentioned that they will try to send out 2 batches a month because of having a more stable supply chain, there will be a break between Feb 7-15th for lunar new year. I hope this helps but you can always email alex about your order and how many batches till your one.
I ordered mine December 19, 2023. Just found this thread. Looks like I better settle in for the long haul. Looking forward to playing with the uconsole but it seems like they are pretty far behind on orders.
I believe they might have changed the order numbering system. Mine says receipt# 1645-xxxx

Thats actually good to know, before it was done in order of when you applied for one, im guessing now they are seperating the order numbers so that they are in their own types of orders. Also i ordered mine at the beginning of November 2023 so you might not have to wait as long as people who ordered in 2022. Guessing they are getting through all the old orders before doing the new order number system.

There will be about 3 more batches to go before yours.
We are working on a batch at this moment. Since the supply condition is getting better, we expect the production to be constant.
We are trying to maintain a 2~3-batch-a-month schedule.
But since Lunar New Year vacation will take place in February, and as it is the most important public vacation in China, we can not ask the factory to ignore it, we will have to pause the production in February for 7~15 days.

It arrived! I’m overall very impressed by the build quality. This thing is way more solid than the PocketCHIP and the keyboard buttons are satisfying to press. I’m not sure if I’d type a novel on this but clicking out commands feels nice.
Looks very well built, glad it was worth the wait. Can’t wait for my order,
I’ve installed Raspberry Pi boards in many kits before and the construction feels more secure on this than anything else I’ve assembled.
