Whenever I open Pico 8 It Brings Me Back To The Main Menu

I recently bought Pico 8. I’ve followed all of these instructions How to install PICO-8 on GameShell but it still doesnt work. Whenever I enter Pico 8 on my GS, the screen turns black and then it brings me back to the main menu.

Just confirming, you’re putting the file named pico-8_0.1.12c2_raspi.zip in the ~/games/PICO-8 directory? Mine is a 6.1MB file. I bought it in a humble bundle once upon a time. Is yours a legit one? Also try and run the PICO-8 app without anything in the games directory. I find that the first time, it will just give a black screen, then return to the launcher; possibly initialising itself. If you can ssh into game shell

Then try

cat /tmp/x.log

Will show you why pico8 not started

There were some RPi changes recently, so it may miss a library, or something similar.
