A04 - No soundcard detected

Just got my A04 and put it together.

In the sound (alsa) controls, the only output is “dummy”. If I go all the way to the right - under Configuration - it says “no cards”.

More damning, in dmesg is:

No soundcards found.

Is this a known issue ? Thanks.

upgrade system packages

sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y devterm-kernel-current-cpi-a04 devterm-gearbox-a04 devterm-fan-daemon-cpi-a04

sudo reboot

or

flash new os image

Had the same issue on mine, this fixed it.
