1 year later and a few batch have been sent out, what part of lack of foresight and mistakes when it comes to logistics do you not understand? Since Clockwork knew there will be a great volume why donāt they just invest more in to production of those in demand parts?? excuses after over 1 Year of waiting due to production issues; when AliExpress and other online store get them before we do? Lack of support for those who buy directly from the original website where there are so many units on those other online store websites.
I think people are really overestimating how many units are actually being sold on aliexpress

Thatās right. Just because there are offers doesnāt mean that they are sold. Quite the contrary, in fact.
Quite likely that with the PicoCalc coming out, that 1) accounts for many of the order #ās in between and tied up clockworkās resources and finances making it harder to get the next back of uConsoles out.
But yeah, it IS frustrating that they are so opaque. They are literally the ONLY company Iāve ever seen give ā90 BUSINESS daysā as a expected delivery timeā¦Thatās such a sh*tty way to do it, because itās 1) confusing and 2) misleading to most people who donāt realize itās business days instead of calendar days (so itās really closer to like 6+ months). Just be clear and upfront. They own the website, if the product isnāt going to be made for 6 months, just say so!
I ordered back in late August, so itās only been 5 months for me, but doesnāt mean itās not frustrating. At this point I have a CM5, the AIO v2, the M.2 board, heat sinks, and a number of 3D printed upgrades, but still waiting on the main unit.
No way in HELL Iām paying the huge markup for the AliExpress ones though. Those scalpers are out of their mindsā¦ This is a want, not a need.
