Alex emailed, waiting for reply, but based on reports above, seriously considering cancelling the order.

After waiting for 9 months I ordered from rpishop.cz and got the 4G version without core for 250€ tax and shipment included within 3 days. According to their website they are official reseller. The delay for individual customers is definitely not due to a real shortage.

Did you receive a refund or did you keep your original order?

I can order from AliExpress and ship to Canada for $250USD and have a coworker fly it down to the states, as I have done with some other purchases, but then I wonder how refunds are going from ClockWorkPi

So far I have kept the order. I have another CM4 and maybe I make someone else happy. Their devices are really awesome, their business model maybe questionable. The use of the trackball has definitely a learning curve  Friedrich

partial refund (core) took like 1-2 days

people wrote above that order cancellation refund was also very fast

So refund requested and given along with some sob story about how they do deiver to their customers and they are legit. (No funds yet but usually takes a day or two.)

After 8 months of waiting I feel like this is nothing but a bare faced lie!

Ordered on Ali Express for an extra $140 but I know I will have this within 2 weeks which is more than I can say for Clockwork.

I was strung along, lied to and basically treated like S**T, this is no way to treat your customers, If it was not for the add-on boards I already purchase and recieved I woud not have purchased from Ali Express either as I have no desire to ever provide any support to this company after the way I have been treated.

Do it folks, cancel your orders and buy elsewhere if you actually want a UConsole in your lifetime!

I still see things differently.

Perhaps I’m being naive, but in my view, we shouldn’t take all this too seriously. The uConsole is a nice-to-have, not an essential tool. Whether it arrives tomorrow or in a few months – who cares? I’ve managed without it for decades so far. I can certainly manage a few more months.

It’s a niche product which, in my opinion, is very reasonably priced for what it offers. You can’t apply the same standards to it as you would to a mainstream mass-market product.

I agree, but I understand where the tension is coming from. Personally, I keep a string of projects. I ordered the uConsole 8 months ago, and honestly, if it arrived tomorrow, I wouldn’t have time to mess with it for a few more months. Got the Hak5 pager in December and the HackberryPi in January, and I still have a Pesto display project that I need to complete. An enclosed litter box with lighting and ventilation so my cat stops spreading litter around the house lol.

But at the same time, all they need to do is update the product page to display a more realistic timeline. Claiming 4 months and having it take 8-12 months isn’t right either.

Email from Alex advising delivery expected in April, delays are due to the lunar new year. I’m holding out until the end of April.

I understand your perspective, but in my opinion, they should mark the product as out of stock until things are properly streamlined. Alternatively, they should update the delivery timeline to something more realistic, like 365 days, instead of setting incorrect expectations.

They definitely need to update the store page more often and be more transparent. But setting it to out of stock wouldn’t fix any problem, I’m sure they have had some set backs.I think the main reason for the delays is everything being a preorder. Order volume goes down with time so delivery times go up. This also makes it hard for them to predict a correct timeline, since it’s based on future demand.
They really need to cut down on all the variants again that would help because now they have 8 hidden queues that they could cut down to 2 and that would fill batches faster.
They used to ship a batch every month, but haven’t done that in a long time.

I agree that the delivery time should be explained more clearly to manage expectations properly. But there always seem to be customers for whom the 90 working days were actually met. Hope springs eternal…

So for me, 8 months waiting, no Uconsole. I cancel the order and place an order via Ali Express, shipped the same day!

I am order 376xx ordered 28 APR 2026. It will be my 4th uconsole. My first 2 uConsoles took 3 months. I imagine they are having some serious supply chain issues. I bought a 3rd off amazon any got it in 8 days. I’ve talked to Alex and get the same answers as everyone one else. I did order a replacement keyboard pcb, and had no problem getting that. (The one I bought on Amazon had a broken keyboard.) I am sure I’ll eventually get it, but I do wish they would update their website with a more realistic delivery time frame. It is one year now. Maybe more.

I am in the same boat as you, almost exactly. Just Black.

I have had no luck with emails, I was told over the last 2 months that it would be in the next batch. Perhaps were at the tail end? Or the next batch is 90 days out from our last emails.. we shall see.

You received a shipping email?

Yes.
