They’re pretty good about refunds if you email alex@clockworkpi.com
Since you mentioned euros you can also get it from rpishop.cz. I’ve seen multiple people here and in the discord order from there and they actually have stock so they only take a few days.
With tax already being included they end up costing the same as the official store but with much more reasonable shipping times
My uConsole, ordered mid-June, order number 39XXX, still hasn’t shipped despite multiple promises, so that’s something like 190 working days already, and the clock’s still running! I note that the Clockwork website still quotes 90 working days, which is plainly a bar-faced lie.
Why don’t they change the web site to refelect reality? Shameful!
Think you guys may have missed the subtle joke here, A CM6 would still be years away, but so apparently is my delivery for the UConsole, so as a joke, in theory a cm6 could be available before I get delivery!
All jokes aside, these are my learnings from my interactions with ClockworkPi around the Uconsole and general observations.
The Uconsole is a very capable, popular product and you can see why.
As a result, demand is through the roof and ClockworkPi do not have the supply chain and production capabilities to keep up with this demand.
Get your own CM4 or 5 module and you have a slim chance of getting it sooner, but not likely.
Reaching out to Alex will not get you any useful or meaningful information about your order, and it certainly won’t speed it up. Responses are copy and paste stuff about it being worked on by Co-Workers, being assembled now, never a definitive timeframe for delivery. There is also the language barrier that does not help, and I think this leads to the copy and paste stuff as quick means to close an email or ticket!
If you want this quick, you will need to deal with the scalpers on Ali Express and pay their premium.
I write this in the hope that some poor sucker who want’s one of these, see’s this post before ordering and realises that their delivery expectations should be 6 months+, not 90 Business days, so they can have realistic expectations.
I am happy to admit that I am an unhappy camper and may be a little bitter about this whole situation, but I don’t think this is unwarranted, all of this could have been avoided by ClockworkPi being a little more upfront about what the expectations should have been and not continually pushing the 90 Business day fallacy. If they had been honest about the production delays from outset, for me at least, I would be more understanding, still not happy, but at least I would have been informed.
people, i only see complaints here. please someone who actually recently received a uConsole post the order ID, s.t. we can have an idea where they stay. if no one received anything recently, then … well …
Thanks for the tip. I ordered from rpishop.cz and 3 days later I got my uConsole. 250 Euro for the 4G Version without core, tax and shipment included is absolute ok. Their website is Czech only, a bit of a challenge but manageable. They are an official reseller for Clockwork Pi, you get a regular invoice. I am not particularly impatient but after 9 months of waiting I felt it was enough since obviously there is no real shortage of devices.
I ordered the uConsole in Silver, no core, back in September (2025 ). Frequent exchanges with “Alex”, who first pointed to “90 business days” which apparently translates to four months, than suppliers, which can’t deliver, then factories on vacation and by now almost “pressing” me to ask them (!) for a refund…
So I wonder: Has anyone actually received a delivery from clockworkpi in the last, let’s say, three months or so?! I don’t mind waiting longer, but I lose trust, that the delays are, well, delays…
Their deliveries are not linear but occur in batches. In that respect, the question regarding the last three months is not necessarily meaningful. Especially as they are currently likely to be focusing primarily on PicoCalc.
Well, assuming that there is any credibility to their stated “90 days”, one could assume at least “one batch every 90 days”. So I should have at least been part of one, if not two “batches”. During the last three months, at least one “batch” should have hit the field, too, if the “delivery within 90 days” (which is still on their website!) is serious. Hence the question, if anyone received a uConsole within the last three months or so (and when was it ordered).
Ninety business days usually amount to four calendar months, not three. Please have a read of this thread. You’ll then see that everything has already been said here regarding delivery times, patience, communication and so on. You either have to be able to live with it or cancel your order. The last confirmed deliveries were apparently made around November or December.
None of what you said detracts from what they are doing, which is blatantly lying about delivery times around this product, 90 business days is a lie, yet they still keep pushing the same narrative and the end result is you either wait 6 months or longer or Cancel. Well I for one have had enough and have now requested my refund.
Never claimed I could change anything. I can only state the facts and advise people to either accept them or leave it. Anything else is a waste of time. And anyone who’s following this for long enough will come to the same conclusion.
