Launcher updates vs. Customization

Hi.
I love the GS a CPI OS.
I have made some minor tweeks to mine for it to fit my needs.
Unfortunatly, everytime I update the launcher, most of my personnal settings go away.

Exemple for MAME games, I changed action.config to launch FBA instead of MAME2003.
When I did the last launcher update, the action.config file was replaced by the original one.

Same for launcher menu as I changes the order of categories and moved some icones to subfolders.

It is not a big deal to do it again but it would be great not to do it every time.

I suggest you create a local git repo and instead of updating the launcher through the UI use git pull and with diff merge whatever you want, it lets you chose between stuff it cant automerge
