Well if you are willing and able, i would greatly appreciate any help in contacting them and understanding what the actual holdup is for sure.
I think what I an others try to do is to communicate how we feel as backers and create a sense of urgency for clockworkpi. The option almost no communication and asking backers to waiting and waiting is way is not going to work forever. Delivery was first promised in april then delayed, delayed and delayed⌠A message of âif you still donât have a your device 6 months after it was original promised we will give your money back or ship new a new device express shippingâ would calm a lot of people down.
Yeah, but you canât bring this argument to life. With the current situation, you canât say âthis is a kickstarter that you backedâ. Fair enough, if all of us wouldnât get their product, then yes, you could play that card and say this is kickstarter and success is not guaranteed. But since majority of backers got theirs and we didnât, makes no sense to play this card
Actually youâre full of shit trying to convince people that the maker âmay or may not deliverâ without being held responsible for it:
Is a creator legally obligated to fulfill the promises of their project?
Yes. Kickstarterâs Terms of Use require creators to fulfill all rewards of their project or refund any backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill. (This is what creators see before they launch.) We crafted these terms to create a legal requirement for creators to follow through on their projects, and to give backers a recourse if they donât. We hope that backers will consider using this provision only in cases where they feel that a creator has not made a good faith effort to complete the project and fulfill.

Letâs talk about manners? How about being argumentative against all type of justified criticism? Why so defensive?
Youâve clearly not read and understood the guidelines. Maybe read point 4 in the following URL and youâll understand that KS wantâs nothing to do with anything and you can only resort to legal action against the creator which is a waste of time for something so inexpensive in comparison to the cost of 30mins of a lawyers time. Itâs easy for creators to claim thereâs no money left with fake invoices etc.

Please stop posting about this stuff because itâs getting you and everyone else here nowhere fast and is serving only to cause negativity amongst the community.
Er, just to say that link takes me to a 404 error pageâŚ

Unfortunately, for the majority of our UK and Ireland backers, we are still waiting for PostNL to update their progress. Again, we are extremely sorry for this long and torturing delay. Hope we could stay together to see every backer receives his/her GameShell.
Itâs good to see theyâre filtering out now even if itâs slowly. Thanks for the much needed update @yong
Yyyaaassssssss! Royal Mail are aware of my package now. Postal hasnât updated but itâs moving people!
I had this message weeks ago, sorry haha. But fingers crossed it means good things for you!
Yup. I have the same message now. Fingers crossed itâs actual progress.
\o/ movement here too, RM is aware of the parcel \o/
I think we should get more on Monday afternoon/evening (not great it happen on THE only bank holiday weekend⌠:D), and probably get it on Wednesday-ish
Unfortunately mine hasnât moved. Maybe thatâs a sign that they are shipping them in batches and theyâre not waiting for all parcels to have their batteries removed. Fingers crossed we will have our gsâs next week, but what about the battery situation?
Given PostNLâs rep, itâs one intern in a freezing warehouse who by now utterly hates tape and batteries
But good to see some peoples have started moving again and hopefully mine comes through before next trip
Royalmail tend to update by batch so it can take a longer time to update on your side
Itâs now updated to leaving the country as of about 2PM today. PostNL hasnât updated though but not bothered about them now.
UPDATE: PostNL status has been updated to being sorted at their warehouse.
Same message for me now too. Looks like ours is on the same shipment/pallet.
I used to think âRoyal Failâ were bad, but PostNL have raised the bar Thank you Clockwork team for all your hard work! It must be incredibly frustrating to be let down by 3rd parties after successfully completing the gruelling design and manufacturing work it takes to bring an awesome product to life! I can see here that some tempers have frayed, but take it as a compliment that folks REALLY want to play on their Gameshells
Sh*t happens, but I suspect Gameshell will be well worth the waitâŚ
