Update: uConsole shipping related

I assume that this is a general order number and not just an order number for the uconsole.

That was partly why I chose the A-06 version because the Pi shortages. The Pi versions may have more software support, but I plan on mainly running PICO-8 and TIC-80.

Thats a good idea i have a couple of cm4 boards 4gb and 1gb ones so i will drop one in but i still have not found out if cores are swappable. Would i able to put the A06 core in the cm4 version vice versa is this possible?

I just placed an order for a uConsole CM4 today. When can it be delivered? I can’t wait

It will be the same as the DevTerm. The main board looks like it is identical. The slot will accept the CM4 adapter, A04, A06 and R-01 modules. Doesn’t look like they will sell it with the CM3 module, but if someone compiles code for it, it should work. I have a DevTerm with the CM3 and ordered the uConsole with R-01. Might be switching the modules around and using the uConsole with the CM3 if I can get the code to run. I guess we will see.

Ill post an answer on another thread - what do you want to do with your uConsole…

The CM4 version comes with a adapter, because the A-06 and A-04 use CM3 style interfaces to plug in. Looks kinda like SODIMM RAM.

Good news for tinkerers, some sites are reporting new stock of Raspberry Pi CM4s on May 15th. Yay no more ridiculous shortage prices

Not that my opinion means much, but I can vouch for them too. I’ve bought from Seeed many times without issue

Has anyone received a uConsole device yet?

Nope! It’s been a whole thing. We’re excited though!

Wish they supported their devices better though.

So last update on 20th april said first batch was released to customs thats nearly a month ago now is this correct?

I think it was a batch of paperwork given to customs not actual devices. They were waiting for the green light from them.
