If you are so disappointed with the system & service provided, could you give me your position in list to get it faster please? Mine’s a surprise present for a person that mostly probably will not even be alive by the time it arrives.
I’m serious.

Seems that revenge flags helps the gods descend among mortals… as already said, I don’t think that anyone in his spare time runs for free a company forum (and this is not Microsoft where people want to become MVP to add something new on the CV).
Anyway, why don’t you go to your boss and ask him to tell something to those people waiting?
You can also inform him that there are services like Mailchimp around the internet (someone at a certain time invented the newsletters). They could be very useful to tell people wtf is happening with their orders!
How much time would take sending an update to customers once per week? 20 minutes? He can do it in his spare time. Like you.
This is less funny. Can you just stop please ![]()
Sorry, I didn’t start that. Clockwork LLC started that the second time I (kindly) wrote them to know what was going on and they tried to teach me how to be funny.
You realize that this forum is not cpi (the company)?
It’s under the domain clockworkpi.com (same of the shop) so yes. It is.
I have been following it for a while have not seen one post from the company
STOP.
The forum is community driven, and not by CPi directly. It may be sanctionned by them, but they are not doing most of the moderation here.
And if you want to know which account is a member of CPi staff on the forum, they have the “Team ClockWork” tag next to their name.
Well, well. Ok. Let’s stop here.
But tell to you-know-who that pays for the domain name to start singing clearly (and well tuned) what’s going on. I don’t care if he prefers carrier pigeons, smoke signals, newsgroups, newsletters, forums, irc channels, Teams meetings or OnlyFans.
Customers want to know where their money have gone.
If they want to behave like a startup at least do it well.
Thanks.
I was hoping for updates on shipments in this thread, not fights…
Well, we’ve just been told that this forum is run by the community and not an officially sanctioned way to receive good information about the company or their products. Probably be better off emailing someone.
Maybe somebody knows of a blog or website that is an official log of what’s going on with clockworkpi and would be willing to share.
But can you give me your place then please?
asap = as soon as possible
Just can say, that if anyone complains about “no communication”, it’s just because they lazy and didn’t try to send an email or anything, because 3 times I contacted them, 3 times Alex answered my email in less than a few hours, concise, informative and helpful.
that was the joke
we use “as asap” in work to emphasize on urgency in humorous manner ![]()
What i can fully support you on is fact that we get no info on progress, rather we’re retro-gathering it by reading order numbers of those lucky ones who received and estimating how far we’re from them.
You can call me a sucker but i have faith in people and i am 100% certain that not Alex nor anyone else are smoking cigs and slowly sipping a beer deciding “this order will be delayed by 3 months, haha, there you go asshole!”.
It’s just not business-viable to screw your customers as potential new ones will be more reluctant to buy from you. Given all the i am sure that delays are beyond CPI team and they’re doing their best to fulfill commitment.
PS: by saying “dreamer” i certainly didn’t ment that we’re to be deluded endlessly by CPI team, rather that we desire perfect form factor of modern PDA and found a seller who promises to make this dream come true
Fully agree that here on “real life” we’re customers and CPI is obliged to hold their part of contract. But sharing with you status of being one of “less than 90 work days of waiting” i want all of us to calm down and not throw shit at team or others here. By reading forums one can get false assumption that delays are being so common that “we’re surely being scammed” (cognitive error of accessibility heuristics). There’s this saying that bad press gains best momentum and it’s more than possible that for 10k orders 30 were delayed because of this or that but here we’re discussing only these cases.

So when are you getting your order? Im sure you have a consice and informative answer.
I wonder if that one guy who said support told him later “batches” with every email he wrote was lying
can’t tell and honestly don’t care ![]()
What i do know and can confirm is my experience with Milk-V sold via Arace.tech.
I’ve made two orders: one for handful of Milk-V Duo 64MB with IO boards and second one for even more of these sweet suckers. First one arrived to Poland around 1 week, second placed at Janurary just now (April) began confirmation of being shipped. I believe that problem of delays isn’t specific to CPI.
You’re right, delays aren’t exclusively on CPI. Every single person in this world knows about the shortage of IC’s (even in car manufacturers), for the last years.
No one likes to wait for something that you buy and pay, but it’s what it is. People have 3 options; don’t buy it, buy it and wait as everybody else, or you just ask for a refund and 100% they will give it to you without any fight.
