I love how quickly they reply to our DMs, just wanted to appreciate the team
Same as yours but black. Ordered Dec.24 of 2023 259xx. Not a peep but then I am only 100+ days out. So Black make a difference.
I do see where it would be easy to get anxious since the rhyme and rhythm of the whole process is so vague and open to speculation. Some of this could be eliminated if the could find a better way to show the batches and orders and not rely on non-employees to decipher the secret squirrel code.
Let keep our chins up and eye on the mailbox and hope it doesnāt get snagged by the SPAM/Junk mail Filter.
Yep! My bad for not reading the Forum Closer and liking the Black finish.
I like black too. However I wanted to avoid the super long wait so went for silver
I went for silver because the black devices I had always overheat faster and the color coating also is easier to get scratched or flaked of (when bad color) and I like the lighter color almost all devises are now black
went for silver due to resemblence of Nokia E61 which i still have somewhere (and want to reuse/repurpose when my electronic skills allow me to do so).
Anyway - i think weād all benefit from constant updates from Clockwork themselves. Like āhi, today weāve shipped batch X with orders Y-Zā. Even read-only topic like that would gave us all more visibility on whatās happening and how (slowly ;d) queue moves up. Or āsilver units are on hold for a while due to shortage of chinessium at our supplierā. Surely Clockwork can be bitched about their lack of transparency, but on the other hand, assuming that thereās one dude running this forum and ordering all the stuff, assembling packages and shipping them to us, i prefer him to focus on delivering stuff as asap as possible rather than dealing with boredom, anger and unpatience.
Even most scammy shops do have widgets like āMike ordered one 15 mins agoā popping out from time to time.Seeing relation between orders and shipping would be a value for someone like @N1kH to prove that projectās not dead per se.
Personally i share a bit of POV of all of you, but i keep my emotions aside. If it arrive iāll be happy, if not - loosing 200 usd wouldnāt be a first time but itās the risc(-v :D) that i accepted when handing over my money to seller of dreams. Becasue every each of you is a dreamer of some sort, we all desire such machine. I just believe this dream will come true and will make me happy. Peace 4 all of you
So there were updates from alex at the top of this post but the last update was mid February, and yh would be helpful if they had some info on what was delivered but im guessing with how they fill orders itll be a little complicated to say from orders y to orders z
iāve read may times that support is helpful and relatively responsive - maybe we should encourage them to revisit this topic?
Iām not about complaining and bitching but letās not descend into fantasy cope here.
Iām not a ādreamerā Iām a customer. This isnāt some kind of startup that weāre investing in, a product was claimed to be in-stock and sold as such with a projected delivery time. A contract was agreed between two parties and money changed hands. I kept up my side of the bargain and I expect and demand clockworkpi hold up their side.
Also if they really did only have one person looking after everything then I still wouldnāt cut them any slack because thatās an easy problem to solve and if theyāre trying to save money by scrimping on staff, thatās absolutely unacceptable unless theyāre going to be honest about the cause of the delay so people can make their own mind up.
As it is, mine isnāt late (yet) but they said it was in stock and took the money, on the 91st day after my order was placed Iāll be escalating it.
No matter what you say here, these sort of fanboys writing on this forum will mark your comment as inappropriate as it goes against the policy of praising the delays of this so called startup and all the nothingness behind it.
They have shipped products, so Iām sure itās not a scam, but if they start deleting comments saying they should ship it in line with the date they promised when entering into contract, then itāll be a very easy decision to escalate it straight to the credit card company
You get enough charge backs even scummy outfits like paypal wonāt deal with you. Worth thinking about.
Itās probably not a scam but they wouldnāt be the first in the world to not ship what they sell⦠and if you let pass week, months and years nor PayPal neither credit cards company will let you open a refund case.
I totally agree with you. We have a contract, weāre not investors. And this is not a crowdfunding.
ā¦and LOL, someone just āwarnedā me in DM. Maybe they donāt like complains from customers
In their defense the first button on their homepage that leads you to the store says āpre-orderā
Whatās really āin stockā is the availability to pre-order.
Exactly. And as it was said many times - you can ask to cancel any time
So I can open an online store, tell people that I will ship in 90 days, take money from everyone and when they complain because nothing arrives I can just tell them āthere was pre-order written on the buttonā.
No, this is not how the e-commerce works, sorry.
No comment my friend. We know very well that you seek to argue only
Is this your 20th year dealing with small chinese electronics suppliers or is it already 21?
I would be very sad if you accidentally lost count⦠really.
You are funny my friend
I learned from help@clockworkpi.com. You should give him a chance. You could become funnier than me.
Yeah youāve been warned because ārevenge flagā as in flagin dozen and dozen of post is not a normal nor accepted behaviour, so yes, youāve been warned.
Iām going to ask kindly again, abuse of flags are not welcome, as the tone of some are using here, not going to point, I just want this space to be as friendly as it can be.
Oh and as some are wondering, most moderators here are not working for CPi and do that on their own spare time.
