I have had mine for a while now, very well made! I bought a nice case off amazon for it. I added an external cellular antenna which looks nice. Where I live, adding the big 10 decibel gain cellular antenna gives me great 4g reception. I could not be more pleased. Very high quality device. Loads of fun, because you can do so much with it. I always wanted a portable linux device like this and now I have one, and it works perfect! 
I highly encourage you to hang in there, as it is very worth the wait. Good luck!

I think this wonāt be easy without buying or making a new PCB for both, the compute module and power suply. But at least now is posible to upgrade the RAM in the CM4 module.

Iām Black + 4G + CM4 (ordered Jan 17)
Silver + 4G + CM4 ordered AFTER mine received first (thought maybe they out of black)
Now you get yours before mine and itās black! WTF.

Last status i got from Alex this monday:
āPacking process shall be done in a few days, then the carrier will kick in to ship your order.
Shall be delivered in a couple of weeks according to our experience.ā
Letās hopeā¦ I really didnāt mind the waiting until seeing people who ordered after me getting the parts required to fulfill MY EARLIER order.

I decided to order 2 different configurations with the hope that one would show up before the other. I want to use the R-01 to learn a bit about RISC-V, but Iām hopeful that there will be support for CM5 at some point in the future. I know I have a while to wait, so Iām gonna read up on some mods that I might want to do and maybe start gathering hardware.
