Mine has been delivered today at work so cant rip it open till tonight.
Batteries are oriented the right way and charged?
Can we move tech support questions to their own threads please and keep this space for shipping. Thank You.
Oh nice… I’m in (21xxx) boat probably batch 3 or 4 or 5… So it is starting to look like the long wait is going to feel a lot longer. I ordered mine without the 4g hoping that it would ship sooner now regreting my choice as I don’t see the option to get it separately.
Try contacting clockworkpi support, they should be able to help.
When I made my purchase I didn’t see the option to buy the 4G expansion - I contacted support via their “chat” and Alex was kind enough to assist.
I’m in the same boat. Hard to not check everyday knowing some are shipping but fingers crossed it won’t take too long.
What are your thoughts? It’s a very subtle change but I do wish they’d stuck with totally flat hex screws instead of the rounded protruding ones. Slightly better look, if you glance at the render. But between that and backspace/enter switching places, the latter was the better change.
How’s the screen? Decent contrast?
how’s it not having a dedicated super key?
Solid - not super strong from an angle, but totally acceptable head on.
Screws are flat on top, it isn’t a rounded head. Keys are fine, but I play with lots of keyboards and think they take just a bit too much pressure. Location wise, they are fine. Not like someone is going to touch type on it. Will likely use a BT keyboard if I need to type much. Looks great feels really solid. Working on a 3D snap on cover to protect display and keys when I throw it in the bag. I got the RISC-V unit, it is as many others have stated rather slow and the OS for it is a work in progress. Will likely order the adapter for a CM4. I also have a DevTerm with a CM3 in it. I like the size and form factor of the uConsole much better. Battery life will be a question. If they had an image for the CM3 module, I would use that.
I think it’s amazing. It’s surprisingly comfortable to hold. The screen looks amazing. I will say that the RISC-V is pretty darn slow, but I got it exclusively to start playing with RISC-V, so I don’t really mind. I can add a CM4 later on, if I get to that point.
My unboxing video cant do a review yet as there was no cm4 board in the box so unable to power it on till i get this.
Wow! Nice pictures
Anybody else receiving shipment emails this week? What is the order number? Trying to figure out how many units are being shipped per week.
I don’t know if that would be worth the effort.
No unfortunately but I am 21XXX.
Think @Puddljumper90 is on the money here, probably not going to be worth your time and may not be possible to do with any accuracy without official input.
I’m still waiting for a shipping notification on my missing CM4 adapter
