So, for anyone who is still trying to figure out the rhyme and reason behind manufacturing order… i did email back and forth with alex a few times over the holiday. he was very pleasant and informative.
This is a breakdown of the information provided.
1 batch consists of 3 to 5 runs or variations.
when they receive parts, they build everything they can using all the parts they have on hand. they do not retain any parts.
official batch speed is based on the parts available as listed.
colors, core version, wifi only or 4g/LTE
current status
1 order of 4g chips should arrive in the next few days
ordered cm4’s a month ago… and they haven’t shown yet. Listed as “delayed” (this is a new unexpected delay for cm4’s)
my fully loaded cm4 orded in july… maybe january… if the cm4’s ever show up…

Dhl information received 10 days ago, still no movement. Patience is my best friend now hitting the 13 months since ordered. 
I’m surprised it was damaged - the DevTerm packaging was very well done - could have been a manufacturing flaw… one of the issues I have with these one-off products is replacement parts… that’s why I purchased two uConsole an a-06 and a R-01 along with upgrade CPU board adapters… concerned once the production run is over there will be limited repair parts…
In the words of the Immortal Bard … “Sh*t happens”… Alex has responded saying he will send on a replacement screen so hopefully up and running soon.

Finally received mine! After ~13 months and not too fussed about that.
The assembly process, similar to Devterm, was a joy, everything fitting and aligning nicely. The wifi antenna looks a bit DIY but seems to work ok.
Having fun the last 2 days setting up i3 system with status bar the way I like it

FedEx delivered the uConsole today safe and sound , package delivery stalled a little last week once it hit the UK due to customs/imports (£26 VAT + £13 FedEx disbursement fee).

#20042 - received tracking number on November 20th, but as of today (November 27th), DHL is still waiting to receive the actual package from the vendor.
If I hadn’t completely written this off long ago I might be a bit upset.

So you had to pay a total of £39 when it arrived in the UK just curious as I also live in the UK. I now know what to expect. Thanks for the info. Can’t wait to to get mine.
What model CM4 did you buy? - I’ve done the same ordered an R-01, cm4 adapter … LAST year I purchased the A-06 unit hoping one of them will get here before THIS Christmas - I quit asking Alex for an update because all i get is next batch or ‘soon’ which is a relative term…
I’m on day 12 and no movement
Same here: one week between the first notification and the parcel collection. One more week in HK at Fedex, it seems stuck there. Patience is a virtue.
I did get a CM410800 (lite 8gb ram with wifi).

For me in the eastern US, it was 8 days from notification to delivery (11/13 - 11/21), or 6 business days. Unclear where the holdup could be, but hopefully you won’t be waiting forever.
