This is now getting me seriously irked. How are you getting your order from July, when mine is from January AND you have CM4.
This company is dropping the ball with the order of these shipments and I’m starting to get a bit pissed.

I lost the count of the times I received the dreaded “your order is in the next batch” reply.
No offense, but I think there is no real tracking at all; there is no logic in terms of numbering of orders and everything is just going at random. If this is how it goes with the products from this company, I may be looking at my first and last order probably, as I don’t get paid a year in advance or pay my bills a year later sadly.
Possible that the system can’t be scaled? From the promised 3 months the average is 1 year waiting time here… It is not just one case, this is the norm.

I don’t remember my Devterm being this bad. That said, if they could at least get me the cm4 adapter for that Devterm, it might suppress the desire/need for the uConsole.

Have you asked Alex if they could send it in separate shipments?
When I ordered my uConsole, I already had a A06 Devterm so I also ordered a CM4 adapter for it at the same time. The CM4 adapter arrived separately, and pretty quickly. (And yeah, it definitely rekindled my interest in the Devterm, but it also convinced me even more that I wanted the uConsole form factor. Heh.)

what about picocalc form factor?
I’m curious about that. But right now I’m unsure what the Picocalc would be able to do. What OS is it even running? Seems like it can’t run Linux, but I guess maybe it can run a very limited form of unix. (The Raspberry Pi Pico Can’t Run Linux. But It Can Run Fuzix. | Hackaday)
Also not sure what physical size the Picocalc is, though it’s obviously smaller than the uConsole. A small device could be interesting, perhaps if they could put the R01 into it.
Hopefully there will be some kind of announcement with more details.
Do we know how many are in a batch? I’m looking at an order number of 311xx (I just placed my order a few days ago) and I’m looking to guesstimate an ETA for shipping. Considering we’re on the 27xxx orders I guess I’m due a good wait.
What’s also annoying is if it wasn’t for getting screwed by a sudden bit of bad luck at the start of 2023 requiring me to cancel my last order and get my money back I woulda had my uConsole by now with a CM4 
(Order 201xx). At least I have time to wait for stock for the higher RAM CM4s, and I’m looking at finding a CM3 to mess with too.
Regarding the PicoCalc, I can see it having a use with Meshtastic maybe? I’d LOVE that.
I’m order number 264xx - ordered in January, still haven’t heard a thing. So at least 11 month wait at this point.

I made an estimation( the upper points are basiaclly without cm4 included)
Just got mine delivered! Order #266**. Order placed late Jan of this year, got the shipping notice a few days ago and delivery today.
I got it put together and it works well enough. A few config issues, but I’m also using a community build, not the official image.
My overall impression is “premium”.
