For the CM4, I’d either recommend using Rex’s Debian Bookworm distro (if you’re used to Raspberry Pi OS) or PostmarketOS (if you want a distro from a community that provides long term support). PostmarketOS is based on Alpine linux, which is quite different from Debian.
I currently use Moonlight to remote into my computer, but it’s made for games and is probably not as bandwidth or power efficient as Remmina.
I added @ak-rex kernel without problems and installed his sdrpp .deb package. I use an RTL-SDR v4 to listen to radio stations. I also purchased a EvilCrow RF. I want to learn and test radio vulnerabilities.
I also use it to code with VSCode (code) + Copilot, whatever, but mostly ESP32 devices connected through USB.
Currently considering in code something in godot, or at least target the uConsole as target machine for some small game.
Also have installed armcord and telegram-desktop, and used it for voice chat with a pair of headphones with microphone (Sennheiser BT440).
